Over time, the character of your PalmCross® may change. Both the humidity from the air and moisture from your hands may make cause the wood grain to rise. A very fine sandpaper of 600 grit or higher can be used lightly on the cross. You also can occasionally rub in a small amount of beeswax or a pigment-free furniture oil and then buff it with a soft cloth.
