Rosemary oil can sometimes be too irritating to be used on its own, which is why Plant Therapy’s formulation combines stimulating rosemary oil with castor oil and almond oil for a truly silky hair oil. Apply the oil to your scalp and massage it for about 5–10 minutes to ensure it penetrates the scalp.
Leave the oil on your scalp for at least 30 minutes for it to be effective. If you have the time, you can leave it on overnight and wash it out in the morning. Using rosemary oil 2–3 times a week can help maximize the potential benefits of rosemary oil for hair growth. You can even use it as a leave-in treatment by putting a few drops on your scalp and through the ends of your hair!
